The coil spring extension has two parallely running elongation sections (24,28). The former elongation section is a base plate-shaped block, and the latter elongation section is an enclosure, which protrudes from a side (40) of the base plate. The enclosure supports the transverse diameter of a coil spring wire (20) by its inner width between two arms of the enclosure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a chassis suspension with the semi trailers; and (2) a method for height level controlling of chassis suspension in mounted condition in a motor vehicle.
