<p>The present invention provides a method and apparatus for generating an update indication signaling of a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) control signaling. The method includes that in a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) area, a control plane logical entity of MBMS generates an update indication signaling for indicating whether the MBMS control signaling has been updated. The apparatus includes a determination module, a generation module, a storage module and a transmission module. The present invention can reduce unnecessary transmission times of the MBMS control signaling. A combination of the invention and the current Long Term Evolution (LTE) standards makes the generation of the MBMS control signaling more reasonable.</p> |
