PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating agent composition for textile products, capable of maintaining an optimal aroma strength in using or wearing the textile products even after passing through a period of wash-treating the textile products, housing and storing them (within one week even if it is a long period). SOLUTION: The treating agent composition for textile products includes (a) a compound expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, X is -OH, -R<SP>1</SP>(wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group or the like having 1 to 22 total number of carbon atoms) or -OR<SP>2</SP>(wherein, R<SP>2</SP>is a hydrocarbon group having a number of 6 to 22 carbon atoms); Y is X or -OSi(X)<SB>3</SB>; (n) is 0 to 15; and the molecule has at least one -OR<SP>2</SP>in its molecule], and (b) a cationic surfactant selected from a tertiary amine having at least one hydrocarbon group having a total number of 12 to 28 carbon atoms which may be divided by an ester group or amide group in its molecule, its acid salt or quaternized tertiary amine in a mass ratio of the component (a) to the component (b) of 1/10 to 10/1, and the method for treating the textile products with the treating agent composition for the textile products, is also provided.
