An improved hull protector that includes a buoyant framework that defines a docking zone, a flexible barrier assembly connectable to the framework and configured to cover at least a submerged portion of a hull of a watercraft when positioned in the docking zone and a connecting arrangement positioned on an operatively inwardly facing surface of the framework, the connecting arrangement being configured to facilitate attachment, in a releasable manner, of peripheral edges of the barrier assembly to said inwardly facing surface of the framework.
