<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise discrimination nature of image components of an image to be displayed by an image display device. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 30 of a projector PR displays a pointer image 74 to be superposed on a projected image to be moved by an input mechanism 50. A user moves the pointer image 74 to specify an arbitrary position of the image. The control part 30 acquires a gradation value of a pixel at the specified position. Then, gradation values within a predetermined range to the acquired gradation value among gradation values shown by an input signal of the image are converted using a LUT circuit 27, an image to be shown by the gradation value after conversion and an image to be displayed by the gradation value before the conversion are alternately displayed to perform blink display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
