<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector for making a low height with a simple structure and preventing a damage of a contact against wrong insertion of a SIM card and having a type of inserting the SIM card in a crosswise direction. <P>SOLUTION: In the card connector which includes a bottom wall of a base member supporting a plurality of contacts in a cantilever form and inserts a lengthy SIM card in a crosswise direction, the plurality of the contacts are arranged to correspond to external contact points of inserted SIM card, and the contacts are provided with a contact point part contacting with a pad of the SIM card, two elastic deforming parts for displacing the contact point part up and down elastically, and a terminal part, a part of which is fixed on the bottom wall and the remainder is connected with the external contact point of an electronic unit on which the connector is mounted. Each of the two elastic deforming parts includes the contact point part as a peak and is formed and combined in an isosceles triangle with a peak angleθ1, and each of the contacts is arranged in parallel with each other and in a reversed V shape in a card insertion direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
