<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce useless power consumption in a multi-core processor system. <P>SOLUTION: A task scheduling apparatus, which performs scheduling of a plurality of tasks 220-1 to m executed in a system composed of a plurality of processors 110-1 to n, includes a measuring unit 211 for measuring a workload of each task 220 of the plurality of tasks 220 before processing of the task, and also includes a scheduler 210 which predicts usage rates of the plurality of processors 110 based on the workload measured by the measuring unit 211 and which turns off power supply to the corresponding processor 110 when the presence of the processor 110 assuming an idle state is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
