PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric sensor device of simple constitution which surely prevents incorrect detection in an unstable state of operation in powering up an electronic circuit component constituting a photoelectric sensor body and thus detects a minute change in the quantity of received light in a light-receiving part with excellent reliability. SOLUTION: The photoelectric sensor body including a light-projecting part and the light-receiving part and also a determination part which detects the change in the quantity of received light by the light-receiving part and obtains a sensor output, includes further an output control part which is provided in the sensor body to detect the inner temperature of the senser body and permits a sensor output from the determination part only when the inner temperature meets temperature conditions set beforehand.
