<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume rotary screw machine which has a wide range of technical and functional potential capacity in reduction of a range of an angle of thermodynamic cycle while improving its efficiency and can reduce heat loss as a whole. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The volume rotary screw machine includes a body (30) having a main shaft X, and two members (10, 20), wherein the first member (20) surrounds the second member (10). The first member (20) is hinge-combined in the body (30), and can turn around its own shaft (Xf) which is aligned with the main shaft X according to a turning motion. A shaft (Xm) of the second member (10) can revolve around the first shaft (Xf) according to a revolving motion having a length E as a radius. The volume rotary screw machine includes synchronizing devices (34, 36, 38, and 40) for synchronizing the turning motion and the revolving motion so as to make an operation medium displaces at displacement measurement in at least one operation chamber (11) limited by the outer surface (22) of the first member (20) and the inner surface (12) of the second member (10).
