<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration test device calculating such a target waveform to a servo amplifier that desired action is imparted to a workpiece. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Discretized input waveform data for at least one period are transformed into a spectrum of variation waveform of a displacement amount of a workpiece to generate initial spectrum data. First spectrum data are generated and obtained by multiplying each spectrum component of the initial spectrum data by a correction coefficient. The workpiece for test is vibrated on the basis of test waveform data obtained by the inverse transform of the first spectrum data to obtain output waveform data indicating the variation of the displacement amount of the vibrating workpiece for test. The output waveform data are transformed into a spectrum of a variation waveform of the displacement amount of the workpiece for test to obtain second spectrum data. The correction coefficient is corrected on the basis of the spectrum component of each frequency of the initial spectrum data and the spectrum component of the frequency corresponding to the second spectrum data.
