<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric field reception system capable of widening a permissible range of the position of a signal source and improving sensitivity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electric field reception system for receiving an electric field induced from a signal source 1 via a human body includes: two electrodes 2, 3 disposed on the back of a floor 10, i.e. under the floor when the floor 10 is viewed from the signal source 1; a receiver 41 in a transceiver 4 for receiving the potential difference generated between the two electrodes 2, 3 due to the electric field as an electric signal; and an auxiliary electrode 5 disposed on the front of the floor 10, i.e. on the floor when the floor 10 is viewed from the signal source 1, and opposing the electrode 2 via the floor 10.
