<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic roof material which can minimize generation of waste materials in a construction site and to improve workability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the metallic roof material A, adjacent substantially flat plate-like roof bodies 1, 1 are overlapped at sides 2 and laid. A connecting part 3 of substantially wave-like cross section is formed at both side ends of the roof body 1. The adjacent metallic roof materials A, A can be connected by overlapping the sides 2 without impairing water proofing property. Furthermore, either of the adjacent metallic roof materials A, A can be laid on the other, which allows the metallic roof material A to be constructed from either right or left horizontal direction of the roof substrate 6.
