A cleaning tool (38) is attached to the table, and a separating table (42) comprising gripping units (44) is attached to the retaining table, where the gripping units hold the handle. A separating device (46) is attached to the tables and provided for separating the handle from a central part (22) of the connection units. A handle fastening station is attached to the separating table for connecting the handle to ceramic objects.
