PURPOSE: A boiler with a food waste dryer is provided to use waste heat generated during the operation of the boiler and thereby reduce electricity consumption for driving the food waste dryer. CONSTITUTION: A boiler(1) with a food waste dryer comprises a chamber(4), a drying compartment(9), a blower fan, a suction pipe(11), and a deodorizing unit. The waste heat generated by the heating of a heat exchanger(3) of a boiler body(2) flows into a chamber. The chamber is opened and closed with a door. The drying compartment receiving food waste(8) is formed inside the chamber. Convection current is generated in the drying compartment by the driving of the blower fan. When the food waste is dried, exterior air flows in through an on/off valve(12) of an air intake pipe. The deodorizing unit is installed in a discharge pipe(19) connected to the drying compartment. |
