<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an over-current detecting apparatus capable of making space saving at a low price without the use of operational amplifier. <P>SOLUTION: The over-current detecting apparatus includes a first input terminal into which voltage Vsens equivalent to current flowing into a switching element 1 is input, a comparator circuit 8 having a second input terminal into which the reference voltage Voc from a reference power source 7 is input, a current conversion element 6 series-connected between the reference power source and the second input terminal of the comparator circuit to convert voltage of a temperature sensing element 4 detecting temperature of the switching element to current depending on the voltage concerned, a first resistance R3 series-connected to the reference power source side of the second input terminal of the comparator circuit, and a second resistance R2 series-connected to earth ground side of the second input terminal of the comparator circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
