PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor in which adhesion properties of a photoconductive layer are improved by combining a specific charge generation material with a resin, which has high sensitivity and high potential stability to writing light, and which can obtain a clear electrophotographic image with high resolution. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor including at least the charge generation layer and a charge transport layer on a conductive support, the electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a condensed polycyclic dye and a resin having an acid value of 5 or more and 300 or less in the charge generation layer.
