PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the maintenance/management work of a cleaning mechanism and reduce the costs of the work in an automatic analysis apparatus provided with a probe and the cleaning mechanism of the probe. SOLUTION: Since the cleaning mechanism of the automatic analysis apparatus includes a wall part which forms a probe housing region and an inner wall which forms a probe cleaning region and has a wall part cover constituted in such a way that its opening side may be attached from the upper end of the inner wall and fitted into the inner wall and capable of being attached to and detached from the inner wall, the wall part cover is replaced in the case of the occurrence of a residue deposit at the cleaning region of the probe of the cleaning mechanism.
