PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp socket having a structure for attaining an ultrathin display device. SOLUTION: The lamp socket includes a body part; a connecting terminal to be connected to a terminal of a lamp; an elastic part for connecting the body part to the connecting terminal, which includes a first part connected to the connecting terminal and a second part second part connected to the body part, the first part and the second part being at least partially overlapped; and at least one fixing part extended from the body part.
