PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system where an interchangeable lens adopting an optical lens shift system is attached to a camera body adopting an imaging element shift system, and which prevents a situation that vibration-proofing functions of the respective shift systems act to overlap and a photograph in which camera shake is excessively corrected is taken. SOLUTION: In the interchangeable lens 200 adopting the optical lens shift system which can be attached to the camera body 100 adopting the imaging element shift system, when a vibration-proofing switch 202 of the interchangeable lens 200 is effective and also a vibration-proofing switch 103 of the camera body 100 is effective, a movable side member that is a component element of a camera shake correction unit of the interchangeable lens 200 is vibrated for a prescribed time at higher frequency than when correcting camera shake, to warn a user of the possibility that the photograph in which the camera shake is excessively corrected is taken by vibration generated in such a way.
