PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a noise without increasing a body size or reducing a cross-section area of an air stream path. SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes a casing 11 that forms a shell of the air stream path in which air flows and stream restraint members 19, 20, 42, and 18a that are arranged in the air stream path spaced from the inner wall of the casing 11 and restrain an air stream in the air stream path, and the stream restraint members are formed of a plate-like sound absorbing material including a porous material or a fibrous material. The stream restraint members are, for example, wall partitions 19, 20 that section part of the air stream path.
