PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a crime prevention function, in a locking apparatus for a door including a hook dead. SOLUTION: In this locking apparatus for the door, the hook dead is one sliding member constituted by integrating central portions in opposing side ends of each dead bolt of upper and lower hook deads provided in parallel in a lock box or sections close to the central portions through a fixing connection part. When locking the door, the one sliding member moves horizontally, a tip of the dead bolt is engaged with a hole for receiving a fixing member, and a tip of a hook can be hooked on a rear surface of a hooking part of the fixing member around the hole for receiving it when a top joint rotates.
