<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transgenic bird causing a tissue specific expression of exogenous protein, and to provide transgene allowing expression of the protein. Ž<P>SOLUTION: There is provided the transgenic chicken selectively expressing the exogenous proteins in tubular gland cells, wherein the proteins are encoded by the transgenes stably integrated into the genome of the chicken, and the transgenes include at least a part of the promoter of a gene encoding egg white proteins operably linked to a DNA encoding the exogenous proteins.
