PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate program cell death, a cancer cell and a tissue stem cell in a histopathological specimen section so as to sufficiently investigate them. SOLUTION: An antibody or antibody panel is used to perform antigen restoring immunostaining with respect to: cleaved caspase-3 showing the start of irreversible apoptosis; anti-apoptosis factor (Bcl-2, Flip, AATF or the like) containing survivin considered to appear in the cancer cell, beclin-1 participated in the formation of self-phagosome nucleus; LC3 participated in vacuolation; and the specific antigen of mitochondria and lysosome, in the formalin fixed paraffin embedded hystopathological specimen section of a human being to perform the identification of a malignant tumor cell and the tissue stem cell by the state of the cell death of a tumor cell and survivin or the like. This cell analyzing method imparts new information to pathologic diagnosis, and means that a treatment effect or the like can be evaluated by the analysis of a pathologic specimen before and after anti-tumor treatment or the like.
