<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle radio device preventing degradation of reception performance of on-road unit transmission data by transmission of radio data, and capable of transmitting radio data even in process of receiving on-road unit transmission data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When reception of VICS data is started by a VICS data reception section 12, a high-speed radio communication section 22 is caused to stop transmission of radio data to overlap reception timing of a specific reception object frame (solid lines in Fig.8) with respect to first VICS data; the high-speed radio communication part 22 is caused to stop transmission of radio data to overlap reception timing of a reception object frame (dotted lines in Fig.8) by using, as the reception object frame, a frame without being used as the reception object frame in the first VICS data with respect to subsequently-received second VICS data; and VICS data are identified from the respective first and second VICS data stored in a memory 12a.
