PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the adsorbent of immunoglobulin and/or an immunoglobulin composite body having excellent blood compatibility for whole blood processing. SOLUTION: The adsorbent 3, in which polysaccharides with 1,000 or more and 1,000,000 or less molecular weight and hydrophobic amino acid or its derivative are immobilized, attains both excellent blood compatibility for the whole blood processing and also adsorptive performance with respect to the immunoglobulin and/or the immunoglobulin composite body. Since the adhesion of hemocyte ingredient and nonspecific adsorption are suppressed or reduced, the adsorption of the immunoglobulin and/or the immunoglobulin composite body are directly adsorbed from the blood, which has been difficult in conventional technique.
