<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detector detecting a rotation angle more accurately than a conventional one. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rotation angle detector is equipped with a magnet part 210 that is formed in a plate shape having no hollow portion in the center and that is of a type magnetized in the thickness direction wherein each of the surface 210b opposed to a magnetic detection element 221 and the back surface is subjected to magnetization to change the direction of a magnetic field according to the rotation.
