PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system which can quickly obtain data identical to a replication origin storage device at a replication destination storage device. SOLUTION: The system 100 includes a first storage device 110 for storing data and a second storage device 120 for storing data into which the data stored by the first storage device are replicated. The system has a data updating section 130. When data, which are stored in arbitral storage region among data stored in the first storage device, is updated, the data updating section updates data, which are stored in the second storage device and are in a storage region corresponding to the arbitral storage region, to the data after the updating. Then, when the data updating section receives an access request for requiring access to the data stored in the second storage device, the data updating section designates a storage region of the access destination on the basis of the access request, and updates data in the designated storage region in priority to the other storage region.
