The adapter (1) has measuring marks (3) fixed at a top plate (2) of a housing, where position of the marks is detected with respect to an immobile vertical inner bearing surface. A radially movable bearing device is arranged in the housing and provides a totality of vertical bearing surfaces for a pin (10) with the immobile surface. The radially movable bearing device comprises a carrier section at a side pointing towards the top plate. The carrier section is vertically and upwardly extended by an elongated radial opening (2') and carries a mobile control measuring mark (3'). An independent claim is also included for a method for photogrammetric measurement of a position of a pin on a supporting object.
