PURPOSE: A method for online auction service using a communication network is provided to enable a first auction participant to participate in an auction after checking the participation of another auction participant, thereby allowing the first auction participant to secure a favorable position in a relevant auction process. CONSTITUTION: An online auction system assigns additional a term to each auction participant(S24). The online auction system permits auction participants to participate in relevant auctions during the assigned additional term(S25,S26). If the assigned additional term expires, the online auction system selects an auction participant who exhibited the highest prices as successful bidder of an auction target object(S27). |
