PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic therapy supporting apparatus and an ultrasonic therapy supporting program which surely can internally capsulate a lesion section, and at the same time, enable an ablation operation wherein an ablation range including a proper ablation margin is made into an index to be always operated, and can increase the medical treatment effect and safety of the ultrasonic therapy. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic therapy assisting apparatus is used for the ultrasound therapy wherein the lesion section is ablated by projecting an ultrasonic wave to the lesion section from a piercing needle inserted in the lesion section of a subject, and presents ablation information of the position of the piercing needle and others. The ultrasonic therapy assisting apparatus includes: an ultrasonic image diagnosing function (step S102) wherein the ultrasonic wave is projected to the subject, and volume data obtained by the ultrasonic wave scanning is displayed on a display section as a scanning image; an ablation marker displaying function (step S104) wherein an ablation marker indicating an ablation object is displayed together with the scanning image; and an ablation trace line displaying function (step S105) wherein an ablation trace line for which a required ablation margin M is added to the ablation object indicated by the ablation marker is displayed.
