PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a winding method for a stator by which alignment of windings can be improved, and also to obtain an insulator, the stator for a motor, and the motor. SOLUTION: The winding method for the stator for winding a wire 4 around the insulator 2 attached to a tooth of each stator core 1 includes a process for inserting the wire 4 into a vertical groove 5 formed in the insulator 2 from a jumper wire side of the each stator core 1 and guiding the wire 4 in an axial direction of the tooth, a process for bending the wire 4 at an end of the insulator 2 in the circumferential direction and hooking the bent wire 4 in a lateral groove 6 formed continuously to the vertical groove 5, and a process for winding the wire 4 toward the jumper wire side of the each stator core 1 with the lateral groove 6 as a starting point.
