<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment device of a handrail strut which can increase support strength of a joint sleeve body used for covering a hollow handrail strut and which is excellent in a load-carrying capacity. <P>SOLUTION: Bolts and screws (4A, 4B) are inserted to attachment holes (Q, Q1) which are bored and provided on the frame/barrage wall P, and the bolts and screws (4A, 4B) are projected and arranged under the joint sleeve body 2 used for covering the hollow handrail strut 7. Then the bolts and screws (4A, 4B) are fixed, and the joint sleeve body 2 is fixed on the frame/barrage wall P by the curing and hardening of an adhesive S which has been infused and filled into the attachment holes (Q, Q1). The joint sleeve body 2 is formed in a nearly flat-shaped block shape which is constituted by connecting sidewall plates 2A to each other by a web plate 2B, and a plurality of screw hole parts 3 are formed side by side between the web plates 2B so that they penetrate the joint sleeve body 2 along the longitudinal direction of the joint sleeve body 2.
