PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building having a function which makes a resident easy to be taken care of when the resident are in need of care, while the resident is unconscious of the existence of a toilet during the time when the care is not required. SOLUTION: Of walls 12, 13 forming a recessed corner 11 of a water-section equipment chamber 10 formed into a substantially L-shape viewed from above, a first opening 12a is formed on one wall 12 and a second opening 13a is formed on the other wall 13. The second opening 13a is provided with a closing means 1 which closes the second opening 13a to be functioned as a wall and is arranged to freely release the closed state of the second opening 13a depending on the need of the care for the resident. Thus, the second opening can be closed by the closing means to be used as the wall as long as the resident is not in need of care, while the second opening can be opened to be used as entrance/exit when the resident is in need of care.
