<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a process from preparation of target DNA to detection of incident light from a site of probe DNA at an optical detection site. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When a cartridge body 54 is rotated, distribution ports, a combined distribution port and a channel inlet 53c provided in the cartridge body 54 and on the upper surface of a ring array 53 are switched to sequentially face the position of a fluid port 30a of a reaction tank 30 installed independently of the cartridge body 54. In addition, positions of a plurality of DNA probes 53a sequentially face a collimating lens 62a as a light detector installed independently of the cartridge body 54.
