<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor capable of shortening an attaching-detaching work time to a skirt guard of a brush holder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The skirt guard 6 has an installation recessed part 6A extending between a pair of boarding-alighting ports. A dress guard 10 has a plurality of holder installing bodies 20 fixed in the installation recessed part 6A and having respectively collar parts 24A and 24B, a base part 31 manufactured as a long size body having respectively an abutting surface 31a and a tip surface 31b opposed to the abutting surface 31a, and three pairs of leg parts 38 and 39 extended from the base part 31 and having respectively engaging parts 38b and 39b in an extending end part. The abutting surface 31a abuts on the holder installing bodies 20, and the engaging parts 38b and 39b are held by the holder installing bodies by engaging with the collar parts 24A and 24B so that engagement can be released, and the base part 31 has a plurality of brush holders 30 closely continuously arranged along the moving direction of a step 3 and a brush 41 arranged in the base part 31.
