<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount a tread to a tubular body, and to restrain plastic deformation of the tubular body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a tire 20 includes a tube component forming process for forming a tube component having at least an outer peripheral part 21a out of the tubular body 21 and allowing the internal space of the tubular body to communicate with the outside on the inner peripheral part 21c side of the tubular body; a tread forming process for forming an endless strip tread 22 along the circumferential direction of the tire; a mounting process for arranging the tube component inside in the tire radial direction of the tread in a state of the tube component being pressed in the radial direction of the tire and reduced in diameter, then releasing the pressing of the tube component to restore and deform the tube component, and mounting the inner peripheral surface of the tread in close contact with the outer peripheral part; and a tubular body forming process for sealing the internal space from the inner peripheral part side to form the tubular body.
