The joint (1) has a ball head (2) embedded into a ball cup (4), and a gap (14) that separates the ball cup from a bearing receptacle (8). An intermediate layer (17) is pre-loaded into the gap between the ball cup and the bearing receptacle. The intermediate layer is made of flexible material, elastomer, thermoplastic elastomer, rubber or polyurethane. The intermediate layer is squirted at the ball cup. A closing cover (9) is supported at the bearing receptacle at the ball cup, where the cover contacts a radial collar (6) and flexible tongues (5).
