An information recording apparatus able to reliably protect the copyrights of main information, and able to prevent unauthorized access to recorded main information; and information playback apparatus and information recording medium of the same.  The information recording apparatus (3) is provided with: a medium unique information creation unit (9) which, following transfer of main information and first sub-information to an optical disc (1) from a stamper (1'), at which that main information and first sub-information are recorded, converts the data of the stamper unique information according to disc identification information differing for each optical disc, so as to create second sub-information; and a medium unique information recording unit (10) recording the second sub-information, in a form different from the main information and first information, to the optical disc (1) where main information and first sub-information are recorded in advance.
