PURPOSE: An overhead crane with improved safety is provided to improve safety and prevent accidents from being generated in a sealed space by using an air motor as a transfer unit for transferring a hoist structure. CONSTITUTION: An overhead crane with improved safety comprises a pair of guide rails(100a,100b), a girder(200), a pair of saddles, a drive unit, and a controller. A pair of guide rails are evenly installed in a wall(1000) of a structure to be faced to each other. A hoist structure(210) is formed at the girder to move longitudinally, and a girder is installed in the width direction between a pair of guide rails. A pair of saddles fixed with both ends of the girder move along the longitudinal direction of the guide rail. The drive unit is installed between the saddles to be parallel to the girder. The drive unit makes a pair of saddles move along the guide rail. The controller controls the operation of the saddle and the hoist structure. |
