<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic contactor capable of remote measurement dispensing with carrying or moving of an insulation resistance measuring device to the field, in insulation resistance measurement of a motor or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Insulation resistance measuring contacts 19 are provided, which are fixed contacts to be put into the contact state when the electromagnetic contactor 4 is opened, and one insulation resistance measuring contact 19 is connected through new wiring 18 to a load side power source connection terminal 12b to be connected to a motor side cable 14.
