<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelatin hard capsule having high film strength, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the gelatin hard capsule having high film strength includes the steps of: (i) adding 1 to 10 pts.wt. of a PEG mixture of PEG 600 and PEG 1,500 in a weight ratio of 40 to 60:60 to 40 to a solution containing 100 pts.wt. of gelatin, (ii) adding 0.1 to 1.2 pts.wt. of an emulsifier mixture containing an acetyl glyceryl fatty acid ester and sodium lauryl sulfate to the resulting mixture, and (iii) still standing the resulting mixture, adjusting its viscosity, and forming the hard capsule from the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
