<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid or suppress a field magnetic flux from leaking to a casing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A rotor 10 includes a plurality of field generating portions 12 circularly arranged around a rotating shaft Q and opposes a stator 20 on one side of the rotating shaft Q. The rotor 10 has: a non-magnetic holding member 14 for holding the field generating portion 12 with a predetermined interval along the circumferential direction of a circle centered at the rotating shaft Q; and a magnetic circle 16 for covering the outer circumference of the holding member 14. The magnetic flux leaked from the field generating portion 12 is short-circuited by the magnetic circle 16 before reaching the casing 60 of a closed type compressor 100.
