<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared radiation imaging device capable of achieving superior white balance in picking up an image while radiating an infrared ray under low illuminance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In imaging under an infrared ray mixed imaging condition, an infrared ray mixed imaging signal is separated into a visible light operation imaging signal and an infrared ray operation imaging signal, and a color balance of the visible light operation imaging signal is matched based on the visible light imaging signal to generate a color matching imaging signal. Then, correction of saturation tone gradation is applied to a color image signal based on a composite ratio between the color matching imaging signal and the infrared ray operation imaging signal to generate a color image signal.
