<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampling apparatus for collecting a two-phase fluid from a two-phase fluid transport pipe and extracting hot water, condensed water, and a noncondensable gas separately from each other, and a cooling apparatus for varying and handling cooling efficiency as part of the sampling apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sampling apparatus and the cooling apparatus includes: a sampling section provided with a sampling nozzle to be detachably attached to a mounting tube mounted to the circumferential side surface of the two-phase fluid transport pipe through which the two-phase fluid extracted from a steam well flows, and inserted into the two-phase fluid transport pipe through the mounting tube so as to vary a position of a sampling port; a separator for receiving a sample collected by the sampling nozzle and separating into a steam and the hot water; and the cooling apparatus for cooling the steam separated by the separator to produce the condensed water and the noncondensable gas.
