<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration measuring instrument for a rotating shaft, reducing labor required for measurement, extending a range of rotational speed of a measurable shaft system, and preventing degradation of an S/N ratio in measurement values. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vibration measuring instrument is provided with: a casing 2 fixed on a shaft system 10; accelerator meters 3A, 3B for measuring at least either of accelerations in the axial-line L direction and peripheral direction in the shaft system 10; a pair of transmission parts 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B which are arranged at positions symmetrical with respect to the axial-line L direction, and which frequency modulate and transmit electric signals of accelerations output from the accelerator meters 3A, 3B; a pair of power sources 6A, 6B which are arranged in positions symmetrical with respect to the axial-line L direction and which supply electric power to the accelerator meters 3A, 3B and the pair of transmission parts 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B; and receiving parts 8A, 8B which receive electric waves transmitted from the pair of transmission parts 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B and which demodulate electric signals of accelerations outputted from the acceleration meters 3A, 3B.
