<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve reducing the linking of a stopper portion without forming a grooved portion in the stopper portion of an armature. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The solenoid valve 50 includes the armature 17 having the stopper portion 171 on one axial side and an axially protruded portion 172 extending from the stopper portion 171 to the other axial side and having a valve portion 18 at the other end, a second spring 25 to be expanded in the axial direction to operate the force of energizing the valve portion 18 on the armature 17, a stator 26 on which electromagnetically driving force is operated in the opposite direction to the energizing force to displace the armature 17 in the axial direction, and a plate member 30 having a through-hole 31 in which the axially protruded portion 172 is slidably arranged. The axially protruded portion 172 is arranged with a clearance formed between its outer wall face 172b and the inner wall face of the through-hole 31.
