PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for simply connecting a terminal device 2 to a host device 1 to input information to the host device 1 with the use of the terminal device 2. SOLUTION: A connecting terminal selection system includes a plurality of host devices 1 each including: a terminal device 2 including an input means 4 for inputting information, a storing means 5 for storing a terminal identifier, and a transmission means 6 for transmitting the input information or terminal identifier submitted through a network; a measuring means 8 for measuring a communication environment with the terminal device 2; and a transmission means 9 for transmitting terminal device communication information associating the measured communication environment with the terminal device 2 with the terminal identifier of the terminal device 2 to any other host device 1 connected to the network. When receiving the information of terminal device communication with the other host device 1, the host device 1 compares its own communication environment with the communication environment of the terminal device communication information, to establish the network connection with the terminal device 2 if its own communication environment is more suitable for communication.
