<p>This application relates to a paint tray cover. The cover is resiliency flexible to conform to the size and shape of most commercially-available paint trays. In one embodiment the cover is of unitary, one piece construction and is formed from silicone compounds. The cover includes a generally rectangular, transparent sheet for overlying the upper surface of a paint tray and a skirt depending from the sheet for sealingly engaging side surfaces of the paint tray. In one embodiment the skirt comprises a plurality of sidewalls each having a height which varies over the length of the sidewall such that a maximum height is located in a mid-portion of the sidewall between respective corners of the cover. The cover may also include a plurality of inner ribs formed on an inner surface of each side wall for sealingly engaging the side surfaces of the paint tray and outer ribs formed on an outer surface of each sidewall for structural reinforcement.</p> |
