PURPOSE: A regulator is provided to prevent damage to an O-ring due to pressure difference based on a through-hole as a boundary by closing the through-hole when the O-ring contacts the through-hole. CONSTITUTION: A regulator comprises a housing(100) and an opening and closing unit(200). In the housing, a gas flow path(180) is formed from an input port(122) to an output port(124). The opening and closing unit opens and closes the gas flow path. The opening and closing unit comprises a movable insulating member(220) to open and close a through-hole(188). The insulating member comprises a support unit(222), a protrusion(224), and a front end part(226). The support unit is arranged on the upper part of the through-hole. The protrusion is projected to the lateral part of the support part. The front end is arranged at the lower part of the through-hole.
