PURPOSE: An icebreaker with an ice breaking unit is provided to enable efficient ice breaking task with low drive force by including a microwave generator on one side of a collision unit. CONSTITUTION: An icebreaker with an ice breaking unit comprises a collision unit(100). The collision unit physically collides with the icing sea area to break ices. A micro wave generating unit(120) emitting microwave is formed on one side of the collision unit. The micro wave generating unit breaks the ice just before collision.
